The Incorporation's Annual Dinner in Merchants House was, as usual, an outstanding success.

Chaired by Visitor George Thomson, the attendees enjoyed the sumptuous and recently redecorated surroundings of the magnificent Merchants House.

A delegation from The Incorporation of Bakers "visited" the event and Deacon Robert Linton accompanied by Collector Elizabeth Reidford gave an amusing address to the company.

Deacon Convener Keith Brown OBE spoke eloquently about the Craft's involvement in Glasgow's and The House history.

Guest speakers Ewen Cameron and Willie Allan delivered excellent talks which were much enjoyed by the Maltmen and their many guests.

Catering was provided by "It's All Food" and it was agreed to be of a splendid standard served with real expertise by their staff.

Members were able to bring their own wines and spirits to the Dinner, which was much appreciated as The Maltmen are a living Craft and hosts wanted to display and serve their own products.

All in all, a magnificent evening.
